These terms explain how to use Qubei responsibly and what this communication service can and cannot do.

Qubei is a short-lived communication tool. A QR code lets someone send a private message about a car, home, shop or other item without exchanging a phone number. Qubei is not an emergency service, identity verification service, or guarantee that a message will be seen or answered.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for sticker headlines, the text and images you send, the accuracy of what you say, and your interactions with other people. Do not use Qubei for harassment, threats, illegal content, spam, impersonation, or sharing another person’s private information without permission.
Account enforcement
Qubei may block an owner account to protect the service or address misuse. Blocking stops owner sign-in, pauses their QR codes and ends current conversations. Restoring access does not automatically reactivate stickers or reopen ended conversations.
Private, temporary access
Conversations are accessible to participants for 30 minutes from their start unless closed or blocked sooner. An uploaded image is shown to its intended recipient during the chat. A restricted administrator can access active and retained content as described in the Privacy Policy. Messages and images are then retained for up to 30 days for security, audit and lawful requests before automated deletion, subject to legal preservation obligations. Future photo deletions have no additional storage recovery window. Older photos already in recovery when that setting changed on 30 October 2026 keep their original seven-day recovery period.
Administrative access
Qubei does not routinely read or manually audit conversations. A restricted administrator can view active and retained conversation records for service operations, security, abuse investigation and lawful requests. Access to conversation content is logged. These activities are described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and notifications
Connectivity, device settings, browser support, notification permission and third-party services can affect delivery. Do not rely on Qubei for urgent safety or legal notices. Owners must keep notification setup working if they use active QR codes.
Liability
Qubei facilitates communication; it is not a party to users’ conversations and does not endorse their content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Qubei is not responsible for user-generated statements, images, disputes, or losses arising from interactions through the service. Nothing here removes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms. The latest version will appear here with its update date.
